What is Lions International & What do we do in Ivybridge?
Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 200 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world. Beginning in 1917 , the association of Lions clubs has provided millions of people with the opportunity to give something back to their communities. Club success over the last few years has meant many thousands of pounds being donated to worthy causes. The club raise the money by events such as its well known Filham Funday. The club has given donations to charities such as Dame Hannah Rogers, 1st Ivybridge Scouts & Erme Valley Riding for Disabled
